Guest guest Posted August 15, 2010 Report Share Posted August 15, 2010 I thought they whey was kept after making hard or semi-hard cheeses?Is soft raw milk cheese whey keepable too?The only way I know how to preserve milk & whey is to Kerfir the fresh raw milk first... at Lindy Haven Farm.. liquid whey I make a lot of soft cheese with my raw milk. So I have whey left over. Does anyone know if the whey has to be refrigerated or can it stay out? I thought I read somewhere about someone keeping whey in a jar in their pantry.
