Saw my New/Old Rheumy Today!

Hello there my Still's buddies and buddettes!

I saw Dr. Mohan today. She is the one who had been my Fellow at the U of M

completed her Fellowship and went in to private practice in Lansing, MI.

Anyway I saw her and she had reviewed all my medical files from my PCP and

from the U of M. She also looked at my updated Medical Information. I have

learned a lot about my Family Medical History in the last year. I also

remembered that I had a bout with Psorisis when I was a little kid. I had

forgotten about my bout with psorisis because I haven't had any psoratic patches

on my skin until recently. So now we are waiting until my hysterectomy surgery

is over (surgery is this coming Tuesday) and until the patches get so they can

be biopsied and confirmed if it is Psorisis. The problem is I don't remember who

the dermatologist I saw as a little girl, and most likely he has retired by now.

Right now we are like do I have AOSD or do I have Psoratic Arthritis. My Blood

Work is finally starting to look like I might have AOSD. Of Course the one thing

that kept them from diagnosing me definitely with AOSD before was my blood work.

Now that I have small patches that remind me of

when I had Psorisis and might look like I have Psoratic Arthritis my blood work

starts looking like I might have AOSD. Dr. Mohan just shook her head and told me

I was just odd. Which of course I know and I think I have had every doctor I

have every had tell me that too.

Dr. Mohan is having me try Lyrica and Relquip (seperately of course) to see

which one works better (or if one works at all). She told me I could start

Lyrica tonight as it won't interfere with my surgery. She also wants me to read

about Enbrel and Humera and decide which one I want to try.

Can anyone give me a heads up on which one has worked best you? I would like

to know what experience anyone has had with Enbrel and/or Humera. Is there one

anyone would recomend over the other. I understand that I am asking for peoples

opinion and experience using these meds and I will make my own decision I would

just like to know others experiences and comments.

Other than that I am heading to Toledo on Tuesday morning for my Hysterectomy.

I will have my mom either e-mail the group or someone in the group to pass it on

to the group. It depends on if my Laptop quits acting up or not.
