Guest guest
I use this one, bought locally. Look in hardware/home department. Guest guest
That looks exactly like mine which I got from the Happy Herbalist (and I too don't have the water bottle on top!), and it is doing a great job of continuous brewing. I had not done this before a month ago, but I am very happy with doing my KT this way. It fizzes when I pull a glass out to drink from the spigot, but if I put some in a bottle in the fridge, the fizzy goes away. So I basically take what I want on a daily basis, put in a quart of new every other day, and we seem to be chugging along. I am keeping it in our guest bath, which is never used and always clean, and it is dark in there because there are no windows. I am really happy with it and with my brew. Guest guest
That's a great price. If I didn't already have one, I would get one. But I was blessed to find one right when I started looking. It is on a tall stand and was $20. Then I found another lone crock for $7.50. These finds were at thrift stores. Since I did not have a stand for the second one, I kept an eye out because I have limited space where I could put that. Soon I was at a community yard sale and found a country stand with three hearts cut out of wood for shelves. I paid $3 for that and it works perfectly and I can put my bottles on the two shelves under the crock. I really believe God blessed me because I found these things even before my very first brew was fully fermented. So once I poured that one off, I went right to the crocks when I made my second batch and have been going great guns ever since. ________________________________ To: original_kombucha Sent: Sunday, July 24, 2011 9:15 PM Subject: Re: New to Continuous Brewing  That looks exactly like mine which I got from the Happy Herbalist (and I too don't have the water bottle on top!), and it is doing a great job of continuous brewing.
