You remember the Body Blade?  PVC pipe works well for making your own of those too. ;)

I went to Home Debit today for some security light bulbs and remembered that Sara had sent me a link on making your own Body Bars with iron pipe.  I got a 4 " pipe for $13 and change!  It weighs by itself 5lbs, and since I don't have a 5lb bar this will be useful!  I will buy more when I have more $ and my friend Trae said we could fill them with sand and buckshot but that pouring cement into them gets messy.  Sounds good to me!

REALLY excited to see Noel tomorrow.  Stay tuned!

i just made one as well. dh filled with sand and i have screwed caps on the end. we bought foam pipe covering for soft grip and taped up in case of leaks. like most things i might have to at some point replace the filler. it doesn't seem as heavy as i want it but its a start for some kimberly spreen i recently got in trades. i think aside from sand all my pieces cost me $15. considerably cheaper then the $40+ ones i find at sporting goods shop(even play it again supports). dh and i are throwing ideas around for making more heavier ones in the future.
