HEALTHCARE REFORM NONE FOR OUR KIDS

Actually it is not my choice. I have private insurance and my choice is to pay

all of my annual premium in advance or have a monthly withdrawal. Needless to

say I cannot pay a years premiums in advance. The Insurance company does not

allow for anything else.

I would really like to read more on the mandatory vaccinations. Could you

please tell me which bill and where to find it in the bill?

When I hear "behavioral treatment" I do not think "drugs". I think "ABA." Having ABA coverage nationally is a HUGE step. There are many other treatments, yes, that work for our children, but ABA has the longest, proven, scientific studies behind it. I imagine if the other treatments do after awhile they might be considered, too.

I am not sure how you take the leap from providing the nation with health care to a violation of our constitutional rights. I don't remember health care being a constitutional right to begin with.

Hysteria isn't going to solve anything either.

I am with you about the illegal immigration situation, but as I have said, neither Republicans nor Democrats wish to do anything about that.

Our waiting lists in Texas is a Texas problem, not a national problem. Other states do not have waiting lists as long as we do. That is because Medicaid is funded nationally but administered state-wide. Each state has their own rules. Texas happens to not put this as a priority and when looking for things to cut, it's the first thing to be cut.

Health care reform can't come without food industry reform either. The food industry is what is making a lot of sick in the first place.

Please give me a reference source that says that people will lose their insurance (if they have private insurance or employer-provided) insurance because the White House has already answered this question on their web site that says this is incorrect information. The reference source cannot be someone third-party, such as an interest group or the media. I'd like to see it in the bill please.

I hate to tell you this, but your health records are not private anymore. Most hospitals are choosing offshore medical transcription services to do their medical records transcription (because it is cheaper). These offshore services do not have to comply with HIPAA. There is nothing to stop them right now to set up a database with your information, and then sell it back to companies interested in that information back here in the United States.

We as parents of kids with autism have learned how to advocate for our family's well-being. We know to get copies of medical testing. A lot of people don't do this. In fact, I type up some of the few hospitals in the area that still consider hiring an American company for the quality of their work important, and I can tell you that I often get reports of patients having gone to one hospital, and then a few days later go to another hospital. They didn't get copies of their test results, and the hospital has to do all the blood tests and scans again. That is a great cost to us. If every hospital had a linking system so that tests done at, say Methodist Sugar Land could be accessed by St. Luke's Hospital Sugar Land, it would save billions upon billions of dollars every year in unnecessary testing. That is what the information system technology system they are trying to get.

The government already has access to my bank account because when I file my IRS claims for my refund, I ask for automatic debit into my account so I can get my money faster.

Could you give me the page # in the bill where they are talking about the bank accounts so I can read for myself?

Firing them all won't do anything. It's party platforms. So we would need to vote in anybody who is not a Republican or Democratic, which I don't see ever happening on a national level. At least not in my lifetime.

You need to be carefull with what you ask for, be specific, you forget our country is very top heavy with all the administration. You see you are proposing something new a departure from a standard. This needs to be studied evaluated, someone needs to form a commision or bureau. The commision or bureau needs to be housed, the commsion officers need administative assistants, the assistants need clerks, the officers need to travel to meet with top european officers to evaluate their succeses, the reports need to be written and then filed, they will be evaluated other agencies need to either accept and or refute the allegations, blame needs to be spread, then the whatever recomendations may or may not reach. True, there should have been just as big a debate on the Patroit Act that was passed as well as other legislation. Even at the state and local levels things get slide in through the process and we endup with less choices and more regulations and taxes.

Amen and Hallelujah. Who do you think authorized the "mandatory vaccines" in the first place, not that they have anything to do with the current HC bill.

And how much money has been spent on the two wars? Oh yeah, and how many lives lost??
