We have been getting ready by winterizing the house and getting wood in, preparing a room for him close to the living area and setting up the house. A good friend suggested I start doing extra now so I am more prepared to handle things when he has surgery so because that is such a good idea, I have been doing quite well taking on the extra chores and getting quite a bit accomplished that way and think I will do ok. I may be a bit more tired, who am I kidding, lol a lot more tired but I will be able to manage I think. Time is fast approaching though and we are quite nervous about it being such a major surgery. They are going to do an extensive amount of work. We do have confidence in the surgeon though and feel he will do a good job. has an appointment this week before surgery.
