Hi Everyone,

Rought night last night - something blew up on our neighborhood and knocked our power out from 10:00 p.m. to 3 a.m.!! And, while I should have been sleeping, I kept waking up all night - just knowing something isn't "right" really messes w/ your sleep - plus it was getting hot and I was fretting over the week's worth of groceries (I went food shopping Saturday, plus we have leftovers from DD's party!) going bad (we also have Radon in our house, and we do have a mitigation system, but when the power goes out, the mitigation system doesn't work either - DH gave me that one to worry about! LOL!). Mostly, though, I hate when our power goes out b/c we have a well and therefore no water! Fortunately, it is back on, but something big must have blown b/c this morning there were several trucks still at work in our neighborhood - one of which was digging up someones front lawn. We have underground wires, so I bet something broke.

Ugh! Needless to say, the restless sleep wiped me out. Plus, I was pretty wiped from DD's birthday weekend activities. And the usual housecleaning, cooking, etc. that accompanies all that.

Soooo..... this morning's workout was Kickbutt Floor Burn w/ Tamela Hastie. PERFECT for feeling low on energy since, as the name implies, it is all floorwork. I also figured it would be good not to tax my back which is feeling the effects of several long days of running around! I hadn't done Floor Burn in a long time, and now I need to pull it out again. It is mostly Pilates-style floorwork for the legs and butt, some yoga postures are also included. It was a good choice today since it was lower key and only 40 minutes (I overslept!)

Just this week and then vacation. I'm trying to decide what to do after vacation and I'm "stuck" I'm not sure what would bring the best reults - mixing up some P90, P90 Master and P90X workouts or doing some FIRMs/FitPrimes. Generally, I want to get some of my muscle back. I actually feel that the MM workouts did not do much in that regard, they definately improved my endurance...but I feel a little "looser' as a result. I probably should have planned a rotation that included strength work.....

Anyway - take care!Donna
