I wanted to try to get some of you to support a CHEAP and FUN and GOOD CAUSE family-friendly event - DREAM OF HOPES RANCH's ANNUAL Candelight bowling at Westgate Lane (Westgate and Cannon).It is a bowling event with lunch included to benefit the Dream of Hopes Ranch -a small nonprofit that provides camp and respite care and Special Olympics programming to children and adults with significant intellectual disabilities. Only $16 a ticket and that includes lunch ($12 for kids 12 and under). The money raised from this their major fundraiser will go towards building costs on a work and recreational center for adults with disabilities on 5 acres in Buda. The center will be a multi-purpose 3,000 sq ft building with job trainingprograms, Special Olympics programs, after-school care, day camp and continuing education for a very disadvantaged group who almost no one else WILL TAKE.Folks, there are very few resources like this available, trust me, and this is a real salt of the earth, positive, wonderful group that serves kids like our son who have VERY limited opportunities available to them to experience camp and other things and have fun. PLEASE HELP!!!!Dream of Hopes Ranch Candlelight Bowl on July 26th from 1-4 p.m. at Westgate Lanes ( Cannon at Westgate).Tickets are only $16 for adults and $12 for kids (12 and under) and includes LUNCH and 2 games (2 person teams so 1 person bowls first frame and 1 bowls the second). Very family-friendly event. Lunch is at 1 p.m and bowling starts at 2 p.m.Please let me know if you can buy a ticket or tickets (payable to Dream of Hopes Ranch – a 501©(3)).
