I just enrolled and am perusing the site. Is it just me, or are the product

descriptions very lite? Also, these prices seem insanely expensive!

$138 for one 8 oz bottle of coral calcium?????

I was buying the same stuff, from the same location (okinawa), for about $22

a bottle!

On the subject of Coral calcium, beware!. I know a Dr. in New Jersey who has

purchased and tested every coral on the market he could find, and had some sent

to him to be tested and he was shocked to find that the only pure one that was

what it said it was, was Dr. Barefoots brand. He really was shocked. Some of

the less expensive ones were nothing more than beach sand and some had as little

as ten percent coral.

Real coral is not cheap. And 8 oz of pure coral is alot of coral and so, tho I

haven't figured it out in milligrams, $138 might actually be somewhat fair. The

stuff I sell, is Dr. B's and there are only 60 caps and recommended retail is

$35. (my price is $22) If I opened all those caps up and dumped the contents,

it would be 15 teaspoons. 1/4 tsp equals one cap. Okay so, 1/4 cup is 16 tsp.

and that is also 2 oz.

So four of those would approximately make up one 8 oz bottle of bulk. Well,

minus four teaspoons, or 16 caps. Okay so, four time the recommended retail of

$35 would be $140. At my price the same amount would be about $88.

Okay, lol, so I guess it isn't a great deal, but it isn't a major rip off

either. BUT, I would not buy any coral product besides Dr. B's brand, without

asking for proof that it is pure. And independant lab test for instance. I

just know too much about the behind the scenes out and out scamming that is

going on in this industry to trust anyone.

I am really, really tired right now and feeling semi concious, so if someone

catches a math error here, please correct me.

Hi ,

YL pricey? I'm grousing about it continually! However, I really do

believe that every product is exceptional, both in purity and potency.

If I could afford it, I'd be using every single thing they produce. You

absolutely cannot find oils that are better anywhere!

The product descriptions are deliberately low key, so as not to arouse

our friendly Washington alphabet agency.

Most YL distributors buy The Essential Oil Reference Manual sooner or

later. It used to be called, in the first edition, the " PDR " . As you can

imagine, that was in direct conflict with the pharmaceutical version.

But it fills the same purpose for the oils and all other YL

products----complete ingredient descriptions, mode of action, suggested

uses and doses. It's an aromatherapy " bible " . There are also less

expensive, less thorough versions, available directly from the company.

Many books and booklets, in fact.

As to the Coral Calcium, I had a fit when I saw the price and just said

" no way " ! However, I read Donna's extremely helpful breakdown, which

made me feel a lot better about YL's version. From what I read from YL,

it sounds as though Young is using the exact same material/source

as Barefoot's. I haven't looked at the description in awhile, but I'm

pretty sure the YL version also contains some essential oils to augment

the results.

However, I think I'll still get some from Donna as I can spend a lot

less at one time for a smaller amount. If it turns out to be something

exceptionally good for me, then I might order YL's, knowing that I would

use the whole amount

I noticed someone else mentioning the Dentarome Plus toothpaste. I will

second it's praises; it's antibacterial properties are fantastic. For

new users, though, I'd suggest starting out with the regular Dentarome

(without the 'plus') as it takes some people awhile to get used to these

powerful oils. I have to add a very odd use for the plain Dentarome.

People (including your's truly) are using a tiny amount as a deodorant!

No kidding---and it's the finest I've ever used in my life. Once I got

used to it---the oils in it start detoxifying the lymphatics under the

arm-----I have never been bothered with odor since---EVER. I used to use

anti-perspirants and frequently had odor breakthrough when being active

or warm, including wrecking some good clothes.

I will never use anything else again. And, yes, I still grin every time

I think about using a toothpaste for this! There are several hundred, at

least, YL distributors also praising this use.

Oh, about 2 years ago I was dxed with lymphadenitis when I got nasty

looking red bumps in my armpits. I did not get over it till I started

using the Dentarome under my arms. I have no more lymph problems---at

least under the arms.
