I don't know if the newbies remember but I first got this in 1972. Until

about 1995 all my symptoms came and left and were totally Stills. Now it has

changed and the docs call me undifferentiated connective tissue disorder. So

what I am gonna tell you is not Stills like... It was coldish at my sons

baseball game.....maybe it was windy.. The weather service said it was 61.. I

looked at my hands to see hands that looked liked they belonged to someone who

was

dead 5 weeks. It freaked me out. I have had white raynauds before but this

was awful and confirmed to me I was in a flare and not just depressed or lazy(

what I say to myself) The hands were a dusky sick gray( like elephant

gray) and all knuckles were black.....my friend gasped my hubby who is a md

just

started to say the physiological reason why this happens( arteries clamping

down etc)just like a doc ha h a hhha Between this and having iritis of

the eyes , mouth ulcers and feeling like I am 101 years old by 5 pm...I guess

It is not in my head...oh yea I get stubborn bladder infections.

Weird!!!!!!!..Those hands freaked me out...I took a nice warm shower and then

had some

hot tea..Its is somewhat normal now..I still have a couple of hours in the Am

that I feel OK ( spoon theory)Thanks for listening

Hugs to my stilligans..motto of my story...don't doubt yourself...and as

always call in stilligans as needed

Love always

Liz

Liz:

I'm so sorry you have to through all this stuff. I'm glad your hands

are better and your hubby can give you point for point what's going

on (that would annoy the dickens out of me) but the fact you take

this in stride is astounding!

By the way, how was the game? Did you son do well? I don't

understand the concept of not having any winners or losers, by the

way. Our son played little league at one time; how are the kids

supposed to learn how to win graciously or lose gracefully if they

haven't the experience? Evidently, I like philosophy; runs in the

family.

Please excuse me, the dogs are begging to go outside and play. Feel

better hon.

Take care and be well.
