Guest guest
I'll bet those were the most special 6 hours those two had ever experienced, and though it was brief, they both will always have the memories. > > One other thing from DAN! that broke my heart. One speaker told a story of a young teen girl who had poor language ability. She had surgery & came out of anesthesia, looked at her mom & said, " Mom, I'm sorry I've been so difficult for you all these years... " The girl had perfect language & girl & mom had " heart-to-heart " conversation for 6 hrs. The girl fell asleep, awoke, and former language problems had returned. > > As a mom, it made me so sad to think if Allie ever woke up one day with perfect speech her first sentence would be " I'm sorry I... " I hope it would be something wonderful or profound or delightful, not something sorrowful. > > Debi >
