Guest guest
thanks for ur post - i hate the term " organic " and always felt it was unhelpful and purposely put out there to confuse/impress us, like putting an exotic french name on a jar of plain old skin cream - hope it gets replaced with terms that mean something, like grass-fed its whole life or grown on soil which is not depleted/contaminated with toxins, hormone/antibiotic-free or cage-free/free range or some other descriptive term - DDT is also organic; should i eat and pay more for food because its label says " organic " ? more complications occur because a huge percentage of our food is imported internationally and not obtained locally - what IS the original meaning? i don't even know that, elaine > Below is mealy-mouthed disinformation put out by Canada's largest > organics wholesaler. It gives away the game : the term 'organic' has been captured by the corporate/ government partnership, who - true to form - utterly perverted its original meaning.
