Guest guest
I've seen different sunflower oils on the market, and don't know the differences... can someone enlighten me? +++++++++++ Marge, As knowledgable as you are, Marge, I can't imagine enlightening you, but I can tell you what I used. It is a high-oleic refined sunflower oil. When making a batch of soap with it, I got some on my hands and rubbed it to see what happened. I liked the fact that it absorbed fairly quickly and left a nice feel on my dry, wrinkled hands. I've also read that the sunflowers can be grown without as many chemicals as some of the other oils. (I can't verify that, though.) That doesn't address the issue of chemicals used to refine the stuff, though. Ruth Adobe Soapworks
