Some Really, Really, Bad & Terrible News

Hi there,

I've got some terrible news that just hit me within the last 24 hrs. First of

all, I got news yesterday morning (Wednesday August 27, 2008) that my Opa died

in Latvia on Tuesday August 26, 2008 in Latvia. He caught Pneumonia and then he

died of a heart attack. I'm really upset over this piece of news.

Second, I was going to go to the library at Main & 24th and I went to go and

update my bankbook. I found out that it had been cleaned out of all of my money.

Every single penny of my 3042.58 has been cleaned out by a collection agency

(for a student loan that I was in the process of trying to get forgiven). I've

got a balance of $0.00 in my bank account and I've got no cash on hand for

spending or for any type of emergencies. I called the legal educator who also

talked to my mommy on the phone this morning and they said to me the best thing

to do is to call a lawyer. My mommy will be calling for me as she is much better

at explaing than I am in such a situation. I'm really upset and frustrated right

now. I really could use a miracle - I need a few thousand dollars. I wanted to

go to Latvia for my Opa's funeral, but now I can't. I don't even have money to

pay my mommy for rent or food or for anything. I'm really in a pickle.

I'd love to hear from the rest of the people here on this list. I was close to

my Opa and I found him to be a very kind person in general. Even though I'm mad

at him ignoring my birthday like that this year, I'm still quite upset over the

whole process of him dying like that.
