Guest guest
Hello, I have a friend whose Eustachian Canal has collapsed and it keeps her eardrum from vibrating. She has no visible (to the MD) signs of infection, has no sinus or ear pain, doesn't know it's there except for the hearing issue. The Doc gave her a prescription for an anti-inflammatory in the outside chance it would help, but when the pharmacist told her blurry vision was a side effect she chose to have us anoint and pray for her. Because she has had episodes of significant tooth pain in the past and all manner of expensive dental work done, I suspect something IS in there, weakening the tissue. I told her about my sister and my marvelous results of using diluted oregano oil in the sinuses and ear canal. I've mentioned that and will tell her about colloidal silver. O3 insulation is not available and she's already tried H2O2. It also occurred to me that if this is simply a collapsed canal, nutritionist to help tone tissue might be in order. I know manganese (raw dried pecans almonds peanuts, raw garlic, raw yam and sweet potato, raw beet, raw broccoli), is used for prolapsed uterus to tone and so might help with Eustachian tube tissue but I don't know about other non-toxic, non-invasive things like food, herbal teas or extracts that might help--that are also inexpensive. Suggestions please? Guest guest
Well, , she's been there. He gave her an anti-inflammatory in case she wanted to take something but told her to wait it out. Perhaps a second medical opinion is in order but she already paid for one and can't afford a second. Guest guest
I would go for the second opinion if waiting did not help, trouble is ( ears and clearing are very important to me in my line of work) she needs to be able to auto inflate and with a collapsed Eustachian tube it is impossible. Is she in pain? Eustachian tubes are the " Rear " door for draining, they are right in back of your tonsils. I would try another ENT and call first, tell them the problem and go with someone who has the Know how to deal with it. Anti Inflammatories are to reduce swelling and allow the tube to Re inflate. we need to Mix Modern medicine here, She could have pain, dizziness, head aches and ear pain. I'd go back or try the RX from the MD. SaraLou Pedigo wrote: > Well, , she's been there. He gave her an anti-inflammatory in case she wanted to take something but told her to wait it out.
