Guest guest
Hi, We purchased cytoflora a couple weeks ago and started it a couple days after starting biocidin but my daughter quickly started having rough days with bowel motility slowed way down, lots of gas, bloating and reflux so we stopped after just 2 days on it. We have never been able to find a supplement she can tolerate so am discouraged but maybe need to take different approach. Anyway, noticed there is inulin in the cytoflora. Isn't this basically the same as FOS which can give many people problems?
Guest guest
okay, to measure a 1/4 of a drop, we put 5ml in a little cup 4x, then add in 1 drop, stir it about, then spoon out 5ml and give that to her, we then pour the rest into 1 of her older brothers so it doesn't get wasted. When we increase to 1/2 drop, we get her to take 10ml etc, I have no idea if it can be kept in the fridge until the following day, I don't see why not tbh, but I'd email bioray to make sure. If your child is really sensitive, then I'd add everything liquid and strong in at 1/4 of a drop to start, we've done that with all 3, once we got her her up to drops we have been able to increase by 1 drop every few days. We do add in probiotics as well, currently, we have been giving smoothies made with scd yogurt in the morning, with a dose of cytoflora 20 mins before, and then we give cytoflora in the evening with a cap of cp1 and a cap of sach boul. the scd yogurt is really powerful, we had to start on a 1/16th of a tsp which is a practically non-existant amount, but still strong enough to create a die off reaction in DS1, but hes up to 1/2 a cup full now which is great, it really is amazing stuff. He didn't really react to the standard probiotics tbh so we increased them quite quickly. hth emma > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > We purchased cytoflora a couple weeks ago and started it a couple days after starting biocidin but my daughter quickly started having rough days with bowel motility slowed way down, lots of gas, bloating and reflux so we stopped after just 2 days on it. Guest guest
hi chicken, we started with 1/4 of a drop for all 3. I made the mistake of starting her at 1 drop and she had such a huge detox, she went into complete meltdown, went back the next day at a 1/4 and slowly built up, and shes been fine, she's had massive improvements with it, lots more language, much happier generally, an improvement in her gross motor skills, its all been really positive. Don't worry about the confusion, its taken me years to get the hang of all this stuff!! oh, we use the adult cp-1, i didn't even know about the d-lactate one, tbh if its not on mandi's site, I don't tend to look much further. We ended up in hospital with ds1 after the yogurt the first time, he had to have 2 enemas to get going again. The oxypowder now takes care of all that, we didn't re-introduce the yogurt until we had some in, we cleared him out with the oxypowder, found his tolerance level, and then added the yogurt back in, making sure we used enough oxypowder to keep his bowels moving despite the die off, But its all working, hes now stabilised between 1-2 caps a night, so no longer do we use all those gosh awful things that had been prescribed to him. You may find you need to start at 1/32 with the yogurt which is practically a grain, and keep her at that a week or 2, and see how she goes, bless her. good luck emma > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > We purchased cytoflora a couple weeks ago and started it a couple days after starting biocidin but my daughter quickly started having rough days with bowel motility slowed way down, lots of gas, bloating and reflux so we stopped after just 2 days on it.
