Guest guest
Our children were very allergic to dairy for their first 10 years.. we reintroduced goats dairy as this seems to be the best for them.. sheeps was ok but not as good, and we are still not using that much cows milk Tracey It might be best to just make ghee from the butter. That way you can remove as much or as little of the casein as you want. You may also want to consider soaking any grains before you introduce them. By soaking, the grain becomes much more digestible, giving people the best chance of tolerating that grain. I make bread, pizza crust, breakfast cereal and a few other things by soaking the grains first in whey and/or yogurt. Over the last year we have introduced oats back to the diet and a little sheeps cheese now and then without any adverse effects that I've seen. > > I would now like to reintroduce butter and wonder if anyone knows of a particular brand that is lower in casein ?> > Has anyone else been successful at leaving the diet ?> > Any advice appreciated - I am very nervous about doing this and won't be letting my daughter have vast amounts of gluten or dairy even when we have totally left the diet anyway. > > Thanks x>
