<Today I'm feeling much better, it's 2 days after a ride of approx. 4 hours and

it's also the first

tropical day of over 30C. HR was 80 1hr ago (21:30) and dropped to 60 bpm now

(22:45).

A week ago this would have been 45 or lower..

What can it be? Hypothyroidism or enlarged heart?>

** Unfortunately, nobody has answered my question yet. In the meantime I've come

to the conclusion that

hypothyroidism isn't all that likely, as I respond so well to exercise and heat,

as well as to carboyhdrates.

I've been thinking and came up with low serotonin levels, which also explains

perfectly well why I suffer

from winter depression and why exercising so much this winter has helped so

much..

From what I understand a lot of the symptoms of low serotonin levels are very

similar to low thyroid hormone

levels, including disturbed heart rhythm... Any comments?

I'm curious whether anyone has to say anything about serotonin now.. and whether

St 's Wort would be

a good serotonin re-uptake inhibitor (SSRI) rather than e.g. Prozac or

'ecstacy'.
