Guest guest
,I've just started using MCP (Thorne, only one I oould get at the mo, although unfortunately not organic) on Callum I'll keep you posted on progress....Elaine Hi Kasia,I found this old email of yours.....Did you use MCP in the end? Just wondering if you tried it and with what results.I have emailed both Source Naturals and EcoNugenics. I've just received the response from Source Naturals. Below are my message and the reply:"I am looking into buying the MCP for my kids who have a lot of lead and my mother who just had her breast cancer removed. I've read that Dr. Eliaz found that pectin with a molecular weight between 10,000 and 20,000 daltons can be absorbed and circulated throughout the body without being quickly broken down and eliminated. Your MCP molecule is a bit bigger, is it still absorbed by body or does it act as fibre? What is normal pectine molecule size? I am concern that dr. Eliaz doesn't mention that his MCP is made from organic fruit. Thank you for reading and I'm looking forward to your reply"Thank you for your inquiry. Un-modified citrus pectin can have a molecular weight up to 400 kD. Such pectin is not absorbed and functions as a fiber in the digestive tract. Our Modified Citrus Pectin has a average molecular weight of 30 kD, and is absorbed. And you are correct, it is derived from organic citrus. Best regards, Milosevich, CNdanielm@...I will post EcoNugenics response when I get it.Kasiachecked for viruses and spam by CanIt.http://www.canit4.3d.net.uk/
Guest guest
Yes, we used MCP for 6 months- Sara's lead levels went from 7.3 to 1.2 (blood) during the first 2 months of the treatment. I'm aware that lead doesn't stay in blood for long- I think half life of it is 44 days if I remember well, so this test is not very accurate, but still her levels went down quickly. My mum also takes citrus pectin- shestarted right after chemo and she is doing extremely well (fingers crossed), but she changed her diet and takes a lot of other supplements. I still give my kids about 2 table spoons of MCP once a day. They really like it in powder form. I'm going to start it myself as I don't breastfeed anymore and I need to start thinking about myself a bit Kasia
