Tracey/TST and jaw growth

Hi Tracey, I remember a post of yours where you talked about your daughter's lower jaw growth a result of TST intervention. I am fit to be tied at the moment. The orthodontist is talking about corrective jaw surgery for my daughter as in breaking the lower jaw in 2 places. Her lower jaw is not moving forward properly and has an overbite. We've been using a special appliance designed to rectify this but it looks as its impact has been minimal. She is 17 and a half so time is not on our side. I am hoping there is a little bit of room for growth. Her jaw locks, what's more:-( and she is freaking out........and cannot open her mouth more than two fingers for fear of locking. I am extremely worried that the joints on either side of her mouth will start to deteriorate...(That's all I need....)This really really bugs me as her teeth and jaw were

picture perfect as a little girl but it went pear-shaped. The dentist said this can happen with an illness so I do wonder whether what happened in the last 10 years also affected her jaws. I am going to try a spell of BORON as it it regulates calcium and magnesium and apparently Vitamin D and see if something can't be done to get a little more growth going. your post about oygenation via TST interested me and how it affected your daughter's jaw growth. Can you tell me a little more about it? This is totally new territory for me. I find it interesting though that one of the orthodontists said that there has been an enormous rise in orthodontic problems and the experts don't know why!My girlfriend who is a dentist tells me that the dentists I have been to have made a pig's dinner out of my daughter's teeth:-(( She never flinches from telling me everything in 'clear text'.:-((

Dear

Tatijana had corrective appliances for 3 years and had minimal improvement in her jaw line... negative side effect was her having to stop wearing them as she was having cluster seizures when she had them in.

When she started TST her front teeth were crossed and her incisors stuck out.. bit ware wolf like, her lower jaw teeth were very crowded and crooked too.

After 6 months on TST, along with big gains in better seizure control. sleep. energy etc, I noticed that her teeth were beginning to straighten and as her breathing became stronger and more regular, so too her jaw expanded . There is a small difference now between her incisor line and her teeth, but this is minimal. The crossed teeth have completely uncrossed and her bottom jaw is widening too with most teeth in alignment.

From our TST journey, I believe that the shape of teeth and jaw is more symptomatic of a poor breathing and tongue movement mechanism, than simply being a genetic glitch which can be manipulated into shape with appliances or worse still teeth removal or breaking of the jaw and resetting.  The people that I know who have had major orthodontic interventions have got to beautiful straight teeth... however within a few years the teeth have moved once more into the poor shape pre treatment. So there seems to be an underlying driver to the poor jawlines which is simply not addressed by appliances.

I had a major stress illness, in the intervening years my teeth began to compact and I could hardly open my mouth.. in the stressful state of illness I stopped breathing properly and had lots of panic attacks and breath holding episodes... my breathing mechanism was affected. since I have been doing TST on myself, I have noticed that my teeth are straigthening again and my breathing is much more even.. though I still have to work to exhale completely between each breath, though this is becoming more automatic now,... so the only thing I am doing differently is repairing my breathing mechanism.. and my jaw and teeth are moving... all on their own.

A further word of caution.. My neice has had major gut issues since she was a baby.. They decided to do mega braces on her to straighten her teeth... and since this intervention work she also has epilepsy where her body becomes paralysed in status... When I was in Germany this summer I notice how flat her face looks and how poorly she breathes.. cannot recall these facial problems or breathing before dental intervention.

I am very wary of major medical reconstruction... we simply do not understand enough of the matrix of interactions within the body which bring about the state of our bodies... from our journey, I think I would get an evaluation from before contemplating such major surgery.. where once done there is no reset button.

Best Wishes

Tracey
