Guest guest
I am using my computer at work, so hopefully this comes through. Dear Gwen and Steph, I am so very appreciative of your advice/time on this very important matter. At first, I thought that perhaps I may be overreacting about all of this, but I can see by all the responponses that I recieved, that I am not. At the start of Livs school year I did sit down with the principal, the teacher, and the nurse, and we developed a special education plan for her, just so this would not happen. I also gave a presentation to her school about her conditiopn, and asked that they keep a close eye on her. Apparently, it wasnt enough....I am still so suprised by this teachers behavior, that I just cant let it go. I am going to follow your advice step by step, to ensure that this doesnt happen to other children with needs. Your right, it is unacceptable, and unbelievable! Although, she will not be attending this school next year, this issue will be addressed, so others wont have deal with this insensitivity. Gwen, thanks so much. Last week, I wasnt sure where to begin. Now, I have a place to start! I will definately send you an update once I get this rolling, and I will be sure to document everything! Thanks for your valuable input and guidance. Sorry, I wasnt able to secure dates in Chicago, in June. I am still working on bringing Dr. Mehta out, and when I secure dates in August (hopefully) I'll call Steph, in case she is still interested. Thanks for support. Sincerely, HRH
