Cream separator advice?

Hi All,

We have several members looking for advice about the best cream separators

(reliable brands, models, what to look for, what to avoid).

Does anyone have advice?

Thanks for your help,

I bought a Milky brand 60 L per hour machine on e-bay for $400 last year. When I received it the discs were glued together with moldy, hard as cement funky nasty (you are getting the idea) cream. I scrubbed and scrubbed and chipped and finally got everything clean enough to try it out and it didn't work or I should say it worked too well. The cream was almost dry - the adjustment screw was stripped and long story short it will cost $800 for new discs and to fix the adjustment issue. Milky may be a great product, but beware of "bargains" on e-bay! And be aware that parts are outrageously expensive.Jan

I'll second the Milky. Ours has been going for years with no trouble. Did

misplace a part and it would have cost a bundle to replace so Larry made a new

part instead.
