Hi Sandy,Do you know where you can buy different bio-kults then? Was using this on dd but she has a problem with dairy which I believe these are grown on so stopped them but would love to know if there is a dairy free alternative. Also (excuse my ignorance) but what do you mean by strep therm strains; what probiotics contain these-do they list whatever these strains are? I think there are different bio-kults.

At least one contains maltodextrin (not at all good for us .. we now avoid strep therm strains too).

Sometimes ingredients lists only list probiotocs strains but it is important to know the other ingredients too.

I don't remember maltodextrin being in the ingredients when we used to use it but I asked them about a year ago at a conference and they told me it was always in the ingredients and that Dr McBride felt that it was so small that it didn't interfere with the GAPS protocol. Others disagree quite strongly so it depends if your son has a problem with corn/maize whether you use it.
