Great! Thanks, Debbie.Subject: Re: Butter from goat's milkTo: RawDairy Date: Thursday, June 4, 2009, 7:55 AM

Yes. Put goat milk in a container like a sun tea jar that has a spicket at the bottom, set it in the refrigerator and don't disturb it for 24 hours. After that, start draining a cup of milk at a time out the bottom every hour or so. The goat cream goes to the top.But it is important not to move the jar at all. at least that is what I found. You can freeze the collected cream until you have enough, and then it is just like making with cow milk.Deb FerrellFrom: Joanne Stauffer <joannestauffer@ yahoo.com>To: rawdairy@yahoogroup s.comSent: Thursday, June 4, 2009 7:48:26 AMSubject: Butter from goat's milk

Has anyone successfully made butter from goat's milk? Is it possible to separate the cream without a separator? Recipe please!! Thanks much. Joanne
