I use a lot of cyclo and if you add it when the lotion is to hot you will

loose it. I always add this in the cooler phase. Why petroleum? Everything

else looks good.

Chris

The ingredients on the BBW silk lotion list water then

cyclomethicone, which tells me there must be a LOT of cyclo in there.

I tried this formula which is good but not exactly right on. Can

anybody help me tweek it?

Water Phase:

Water 64%

Sodium Lactate 3%

Allantoin 1%

Oil Phase:

E-Wax NF 6%

Cyclomethicone 15%

Avacado Oil 4%

Shea Butter 4%

Petroleum 1%

Cool Down Phase

LC 1401 DC 3%

Germaben II 1%

Fragrance, colorant 1.5%

Thanks!

Jane

Gee, I wish I had known that....thanks....also I believe that The

Herbarie states that Allantoin should be in the cool down phase.

The cyclo has a very low flash point. I don't think you would blow up. BG

What is LC 1401 DC?

In the lotion recipes I have made, the Allantoin has been added at

the end.

Hi ,

LC1401DC is Lotioncrafter LC1401DC, a silicone blend that we carry (INCI:

Cyclomethicone (and) Dimethiconol). We're closing early today for the weekend to

attend a family function, but you can read about it and our LC8515

Cyclomethicone here: http://lotioncrafter.com/techdata.html And I'm happy to

answer any questions about it when I return on Monday!
