Guest guest Posted August 16, 2010 Report Share Posted August 16, 2010 Well, I woke up at 6:00, having slept horrible the night before. And to make it worse, I had three little boys awake at 6:00 with me..ugh.. I need my peace, quiet, and tea in the morning KID-FREE! LOL.. I drank my tea anyway, and then headed off on my bike about an hour afterwards. Of course DH was there to stay with the boys.  I decided to go on the road since I didn't want to ride on slippery trails that I didn't know. Man, I chose a route that was ALL HILL. Fine, on the way down there, but on the way home. Oh my gosh. I think it was a 2-mile hill. Amazingly, I never rested or walked. Slowed down tons..but made it work. I was a sweaty tired mess when done.  Time: 54:30 Distance: 10.27 miles Avg speed 11.3 Max speed 31.41 (downhill - yikes!) Avg cadence 69  And, I burned 568 calories with my average at 131. Was happy with that, and I had no dread factor getting on my bike either  Darcy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
