Guest guest
,Have you thought about using them for your recovery week(s)? Or if you have another dreaded injury?Vennitta Tressia came over and we did 2 Powerfit workouts: Cardio and Core Fusion taught by Huckabee. This one is basic floor aerobics that also preps a beginner on how to do step because at one point you place your band on the floor and step over it with step moves as if a step were there (basic, v-step, rocking horse, three knee repeater, etc). There is a standing ab segment toward the end. Core Fusion starts off with some crunches and adds in a few pilates type moves, moves done from a tabletop pose, etc.Overall impression - these were too easy for me and I won't be using them as the main part of my workouts, however, I do think the are good as add-ons, warmups and cooldowns if you have another more challenging workout sandwiched in between them. I like the 20 minute length and they are creative. They aren't boring, just... on the easy side.

Guest guest
Hi Vennitta! These are nice workouts, just on the easy side. Usually for recovery I like to stretch and walk, but these workouts do make excellent warmups and add-ons and I'm still glad I have them They have a lot of variety in them and it's fun to see what comes up next! I see Dr. No for another knee visit tomorrow, it's better but still " off " . I've decided I'm running a half marathon in 2011 and I can't let this knee get in the way of my goal! How are you and are you still doing Body Gospel? Guest guest
Ooh, sad to hear that you still have that wonky(ish) knee but glad to hear that it won't stop you (ain't no stopping us now, we're on the move - well, I think those are the lyrics to that song). I was supposed to start where I left off on P90 but I think I have another case of bronchitis. My lungs are on fire today and my allergies totally out of control over the weekend...that usually leads to me having respiratory distress of some sort. The skin on my nostrils is peeling off I did so much blowing My work hours have also been out of control for the last 3 weeks, sigh...with this economy I can't be impulsive job wise but this is just too much, a short day 10 hours. Well, I don't mean to whine or complain, I'm going to take some OTC meds and call the Dr. tomorrow for the serious stuff. Hugs, Vennitta Hi Vennitta! These are nice workouts, just on the easy side.
