Guest guest
Hi Janet, We mostly use 2 custom CP1 probios with a litre of Waitrose goat milk. We heat the milk then cool it. Add the probios and leave it for at least 24hrs. I can show you ours if that would be useful. Sorry I'm not sure about fat - we give zyme prime digestive enzymes for fat digestion. Best wishes Sandy > > > Hi, > Have recently bought the yogurt maker and wanted to know if anyone knows where to buy the starter pack from and what the difference is between straining and dripping it. Also, is there a difference between the fat content in terms of digestion? Going to try this for dd who does have probs with cow's milk (never tried the goat milk before). > Thanks in advance, Janet >

Guest guest
Thanks Sandy- so I don't need a starter just the probiotics? When you say heat milk and then cool it , do you mean boil it or is that too higher temp? Am presuming once cooled you put in yog maker with the probiotics. To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: sandyandtim@...Date: Wed, 17 Nov 2010 08:49:06 +0000Subject: Re: Goats yogurt Hi Janet, We mostly use 2 custom CP1 probios with a litre of Waitrose goat milk. Guest guest
Hi Janet, You just need milk and probios (the probios are the starter). We heat the milk until it is simmering (a couple of times it has accidently boiled over and still everything worked fine). When we first started we bought a thermometer to test the temperature but we didn't find it terribly useful and it was a bit awkward to use. Yes - once the milk has cooled down we mix in the probios. I empty the capsules out into a little dish and stir in a few drops of milk - then a bit more milk and then stir it into the litre of milk. Here's the instructions we followed when we started. http://www.pecanbread.com/new/yogurt1.html Hope it goes well. Let me know if I can help.
