Guest guest
We sell herd shares and charge fees for our labor to provide our share owners with whole and skim milk, cream, half & half, buttermilk, kefir and butter from the animals they own, in complete compliance with Tennessee law. An employee of the Tennessee Ag Deptment, Steve , out of Memphis, called yesterday and told us to stop providind anything but the whole milk. He said his boss, Sanford of the TN Ag Dept in Nashville had asked him to call saying we were violating the law by processing the milk. We asked him to please e-mail us a copy of that law but have not heard back. We feel we are operating within the law to be paid for our time to make these products for a fellow owner of the herd. Has anyone else had this issue with the TN Ag Dept? Jan Haybert
