Guest guest
The public bathroom issue was a biggie for my son also, but I think he is now over it--easier for a boy than a girl, of course. He has had various bathroom issues over the years, as is common with OCD. He would get very constipated when attending camp, etc, which was a big problem. I'd be inclined to push the issue ERP-wise myself, and in necessary lean on the schools as a cleanliness issue--or get the State Health Department involved if it is that bad. Judy Re: Re: making it through Christmas I wouldn't worry too much about not wanting to use the bathrooms at school. Have you ever looked at some of those bathrooms? Filthy, and the schools sometimes take the doors off to prevent kids from defacing the property, smoking, etc. I wouldn't want to use a school bathroom either. Both my girls, (one with OCD, one with no disorders) have refused to use school bathrooms from kindergarten all the way through. One is graduated, one is in 8th grade now. I don't worry too much about it. They both have strong bladders.
