Jill

o Email address you subscribed with: REQUIRED

Capricious.Caprine@...

o Where you live - State: REQUIRED

California County:

Nevada County

o Are you a raw milk consumer, a wanna-be consumer or a farmer:

In the past, drank fresh milk from Uncle's cows, straight from the barn, through a coffee filter, into the fridge. Planning on a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats as well as two cows, a brown swiss and a jersey. Looking forward to learning all about the milkpail, making cheeses, butter, yogurt, etc...

To the best of your knowledge, are Raw Dairy sales available in your state? (I.e. On site farm sales only, available only through cow shares, etc.)--this info can normally be found at http://www.realmilk.com/happening.html

On-farm sales of raw milk and cream to consumers are legal. Farmers cannot advertise. If a farmer's business involves only on-farm sales of raw milk, the farmer does not have to obtain a permit and is not subject to state milk regulations. (Moving to Nebraska soon.)

Looking forward to learning and sharing with the group.

Jill
