Guest guest
Kirk I here ya man on the bail outs what has gotten me is how the loans were made to people that would and could not afford them but no one cared all they wanted was to get them in no worry about keeping them in . Then look at who the CEO's were and were there at to day who also got big money from them and were there at today like the number two money receiver from fanny ma and Freddy Mac and so on. It just makes me mad. And then also when all the things and regs were changed yet they want to lay all the blame on the setting pres of today. I also look at how some came to power and who was backing them from the start and that gets to me. To me it no longer is the people for the people by the people but the money for the money and forget the people. The hill is mostly corrupt and filled with pocket liners and self interest that is all they look at. The whole mortgage mess started way back in the 1990¢s when it was set up to get low income and urban people into homes that should not have been. this was done by penalizing mortgage companies for not giving enough loans to them and rewarding them that did to day we call them sub prime loans and that is were the whole melt down started from then the wrapping up of the bad with the good to sell them and resale them and so one tell it built up to what we have to day. As Kirk said no one was watching the piggy bank and every one was dipping into it for there own pockets. My other problem is the government spending and budgets based on what they hope to get instead of it being based on what they have. Budgets should be based on what they collected the year before the money in hand not what they hope to get that year. being like this year people are not buying as much as there hurting so no new cars and other big money things so less tax dollars and so less money for the government be it Washington, state, county, city, what ever so now they have to cut and lay off people and that only hurts the whole economic even more just like taxing companies more as there the ones that make the jobs that give people money to live and spend and pay taxes so round and round we go make jobs or take jobs away less government or more history tells us what works and what dose not more government means less jobs and more taxes les government means more jobs and less taxes and that is history all the way back to the start not just the last 10 20 or 30 years . okay off soap box and for a bit last politic post as it is a area I am very opinionated in and also very very conservative in also .just to let some of ya know I was in politics for over 13 years and ran for a some what local office that covered three cities with a population of over 500,000 people at the time and I am flirting with the idea of getting back into the game again but not tell I move and am living were I want to live as I will not be like some and move to a place just were I can be elected to me I will live were I want and then if I feel then I would run but when I do look out as this time I have a wife that is supportive and not one that will fight me in this every step of the way ! the rednecks Marty & G. the redneck's my space http://www.myspace.com/martyg58 Stills ; An illness I know to well!
