Guest guest
I had the very same issues. I was just talking with my husband about how much progress my son has made over the years and especially since our last treatment at the CARE clinic here in Austin. We saw Dr.Ghodsi here in Austin when my son was 3 and we ran all the tests. The only thing we found was a sinus infection on his MRI but it's good to rule out other causes to be sure. My son is recovering with a bio-medical approach, supplementation and chelation. I heard a lot of mixed reviews on AIT and the cost was prohibitive and not covered by insurance so we never tried it. I had a child who could not leave the house without screaming and I had a baby at the time that I was afraid he would smother if she cried. I feel for you, I remember. Now when a baby cries he notices it and says " Baby cry? " and I ask him why and he says " Baby is angry " or " Baby is sad " and then we talk about what makes a baby sad or angry. That's a far cry from screaming and running up to the baby holding his ears! No amount of OT ever made a hill of beans worth of difference in my son. Everyone is different. Hang in there.
