Since the last time I was here, Saint 's Organic Farm in Emmett has been

Grade A dairy certified and sells raw milk. I had the pleasure of helping out

there during a recent lay off and enjoyed every minute of it. The dairy has been

in the family for years and they are committed to sustainable, wholesome

farming. They also provide organic, grass fed beef. Their website is

www.saintjohnsorganicfarm.com.

I can agree with that about pretty relaxed rules. We have a raw milk cow share

program in Rigby, ID and are currently milking two guernsey cows and adding

another next week. Through a cow share type of arrangement it's legal and

nobody hassles you. There aren't very many people like us that do strictly raw

milk but there are A LOT of grade B dairies all across Idaho especially in

central Idaho. In my experience generally the Grade B dairies are smaller and

not under such strict surveillance like a Grade A dairy is so they'd be more

likely to sell it to someone so she could ask. Also, around here anyway

(southeast Idaho), as a bonus most of the Grade B dairies are pasture based to a

certain extent because it's cheaper and the cows produce more butterfat (which

is how they're paid since the milks going to creameries). This is the contact

info for the Weston A. Price chapter leader in that area She may have so good

suggestions for where to start looking:

Ketchum/Sun Valley: Bradshaw , leslie.bradshaw@...

Anyway hopes that helps :)
