Haven't posted here in few weeks(victim of new construction house

mold), but I NEED reliable comments from all posters here(even

though you aren't doctors). I am debating getting a flu shot this

year (mold symptoms appeared noticably Aug 4) due to 2 issues: first

and least worrisome....flu shot(adults) has aluminum and thimerosal

as preservatives(thim. causes redness, swelling at injection

site...no big deal, but it is MERCURY). But issue that SCARES me,

since we are mold victims....flu shot can trigger Guillian Barre

Syndrome, which is (another) immune system disorder that attacks

mylein sheath of periferal nerves(arms, legs, sometimes brain)

causing complate paralysis...most recover after several months in

hospital...must be on respirator and iv's in hospital and

monitored...life threatening...ability to speak, move about

gone...VERY scary thing!!! If you are NOT yet familiar with GBS,

google it in search engine....please give me honest

feedback....since us mold victims have VIRAL (and some yeast like

me) and/or bacterial issues, it is noted that there is often

viral/bacterial issue of respiratory/GI areas preceeding the time

flu shot administered and onset of GBS, Really scares me!

Soooo.....SHOULD WE GET A FLU SHOT??? Thanks....don't mean to alarm

anyone, as the flu causes deaths too...just another " rock between

hardc place " decision to make!! Thqnks Steve
