Guest guest
Sorry for being the chatty newbie, but I felt I had to respond to this post. I also do not do allergy shots. Tried them but always got a > rash and always had yeast infection. You are not supposed to take > the allergy shots when you have infection of some kind. My opinion. > Maybe someone can help me figure this out. I have suffered from a hoarse voice for many years. I used to have a beautiful singing voice, now I creak and crackle. I attributed it to the fact I'd become a mom to three very rambunctious boys and spent a lot of time yelling. Eventually I sought the help of an allergist. When they did the skin test, I became lightheaded and needed to lie down. I was allergic to dogs, cats, dust and dust mites, maybe ragweed, not sure but there was one more thing. The NEXT MORNING, my glands in my throat were swollen to the size of eggs! I kid you not. I fasted for a day, ate raw for a day, fasted for two more days until the glands went down. I never went back to that dr and he called me wanting to know why I'd cancelled my treatments that were to begin. When I told him what had happened, he said it was a coincidence!! I told him I didn't think so, and I left it at that. I've had periods of unwellness since then. Times when I just have absolutely NO energy, but they've gotten a lot worse and more frequent since we moved to this house. I don't know if it's the house or NC [different environment than the north] but I've lived in different parts of the country before and never had this kind of trouble. Perhaps the allergy testing compromised my immune system? Any ideas, anyone? Thanks in advance, Cathe
