Guest guest
You packaged them too soon. You should wait a good 24 hours for them to dry and try not to let them dry too soon either. Too fast of a drying time will give you crack city. _www.inesShower.com_ (http://www.inkristinesshower.com/) Hoehn - Official Saponificator (815)220-0583 or (815)223-SOAP 1,000's & 1,000's of Bathbombs sold weekly! Guest guest
that makes sense. I've watched them the last couple of days to see what would happen (I left them wrapped) and they have started to slightly expand or get puffy, but they also now look " fuzzy " , kinda like crystals are growing. thanks! > > From: esShower@... > Date: 2005/03/29 Tue PM 12:45:44 EST > To: 1Toiletries > Subject: Re: Re: Bath Bombs - ! > >

Guest guest
ha, ha, I am to, And I'm still using that original recipe you sent me that I play around with a little here and there, but I'm a " if it's not broke dont fix it person " and it's always worked great for me. My bath bombs are what keep me in business~ The salt is ok, you do have to get just the right consistancy for sure and I think I've finally figured that out. Now if I can just remember what I did cause I was in a hurry and didn't write it down~I thnk I subbed a little of the bakin soda for the salts~ My last batch didn't bulk up, but then again , it depends on the FO I have found some fo's set them off more than others as well~ Sindy ----- Original Message ----- Bath Bombs - ! did you use some type of salt? Guest guest
I used it for appearance as well, it said that epsom salts makes them shiny, and helps the bubbling effect in the tub. Guest guest
My 9 year old son has decided he really likes bath bombs! - perhaps due to the name (bombs)!! He wants to sell them at his lemonade stand this summer so I suppose we will be making them more often. Are there supposed to be any skin benefits to the ingredients? Sure, there are oils that coat the skin and essential oils that can have effects; but what about the baking soda and citric acid - do they do anything for the skin?? Guest guest
Bath bombs are a compound of chemicals that react to each other and in doing so creates a salt. The addition of oils and powdered herbs can be nice and skin beneficial.
