I made a batch last night, let them airdry in the mold for about an hour, removed them gently by gently tapping each side, then I let them airdry another 3 hours on the counter (we live in Las Vegas and its very dry here). After the 3 hour dry time I then wrapped them in plastic wrap and tied them with raffia, this morning I got up and they had all split in half, some of them split in half and then again in half. The last batch didn't do this and after the 3 hour dry time I put them all in one ziplock baggy. My questions are: did I package them too soon, did I package them in the wrong type of wrap, did the forecast for today being windy have anything to do with the moisture content?
