Guest guest
Hi Janet, We have used ear candles for 9 years now. Works very well. We sold one of homes to a lady who did that for a living and she taught me how. I will tell you what she taught me. You may already know but I'll give the info. You must use one cone per ear. Put a cone thru a paper plate to catch hot ashes. Have next to you a toothpick, scissors, glass of water. Lay on your side with the first ear up. Light the cone, wait for it to smoke. Place it in your ear. Check the cone every 2-3 minutes to see if the hole is clogged. If so, use the toothpick to clear it. Every inch or so cut off the top. When the cone is about 1 1/2 inches away from your ear, your done. Switch to next ear. DO NOT put any water or liquid in your ear for 48 hours. If your ear feels clogged, use another cone the next day. Sometimes your ear can also feel clogged/like you've been on an air plane. That is normal. After you have done it a couple of times your head will feel fabulous. So will your sinuses. My daughter (11) and son (7) ask for me to do it, they say it makes them feel better. I have used it on them since they were 2 months old. Never had an ear infection either of them. If it starts to itch and symptoms of an ear infection, I get out the candles and vit. C. So far it's worked. Hope this helps.
