Guest guest
Hi everyone, I know many of us watched the Extreme Home Makeover on Sunday about the Family that lost their husband/father due to the toxic mold in the basement. If you didn't see it I know you have heard about it. I wrote and thanked them for doing the show that helped to make more people aware of the seriousness of toxic mold. I also told them a little of my story. Below is the address if anyone wants to do the same. It's a chance to be heard!!! They need to know how many of us there are!! Guest guest
Thanks Sue, I saw the show. My husband had severe seizure and convultions when moving out of mold home. It was very scarey. The house was beautiful they built for the family. > > Hi everyone, > I know many of us watched the Extreme Home Makeover on Sunday about the > Family that lost their husband/father due to the toxic mold in the basement. Guest guest
Donna, There is an Extreme Makeover that was done her in MN as well. It is a family that lost their dad to a car accident, and then mom was a victim of domestic violence. She had a boy friend, she broke up, and he stalked her. The man killed both her and the boy friend. She had an alarm system, and the kids knew exactly what to do in case this guy came to stalk her. So now the kids live with an aunt and uncle in Minnetonka. I just saw it previewed for 2 weeks from yesterday. I guess if you ever think you life is bad, turn that show on, get a good cry, and mine seems like a cake walk! Let us know when you see more! About 9 miles from me a house is being built for an absolutely wonderful and very deserving young man and his family. is somewhat of a local hero. Born blind and disabled, he is 19 years old, in a wheelchair and a hero to many. Here in Louisville (KY-ana) area we have an annual Crusade for Children. This crusade raises miliions of dollars to benefit local childrens agencies and has been a special guest for many years, singing, playing music and even wrote the Crusade Cannonball (theme song). Currently he attends UofL and is a member of the marching band. Because he cannot walk, his father pushes him so he can take part. Its an encouraging and inspirational family. Anyway they were selected for the makeover and it is going on as I type. The boys and I are visiting the site tomorrow. I am not sure when this will air but will post at that time to remind all...... hugs! donna**************************************See what's new at http://www.aol.com
Guest guest
Oh, I love that show!! It always makes me cry. I have been watching the old ones on TV land. And, since our Make-a-wish trip, I now have a soft spot in my heart for Louisville, KY!!--- & Elaney(13 w/ JRA, heart defects, scoliosis)ajaoky@... wrote: To all those who are fans of Extreme Home Makeover I want to tell you to keep an eye out for a future episode done right here in Louisville!
