Test for carpet allergy causing bad symptoms????

Thanks to all for comments on earlier post regarding poor sleep and

possible chronic fatigue synd. Rather than having mold tests done in

my house, are there tests for " carpet toxins " ? I thought my air cond

ducts might be problem and need cleaning. I haven't used ac in 2 days

(better temp), but the symptoms burning eyes/throat continue! Read

about air purifiers with Hepa/got one but not really helpful. Read

where a UV light and electrostatic ion stuff is good filter but no

confirmation. I also read where hepa filter does NOT filter out GASES,

chemical vapors.........hmmmmm......so I wonder if my 2yr4mos old

carpeting is putting off chemicals....have huge house and same burning

symp ALL OVER house....thought it might also be from the heat/innerds

of my computer, where I spend at least 8hrs a day at...they say stuff

emits from computer monitor/heat.etc. Anyone's thoughts on

above...thanks....I KNOW I need to get out, but you just dont up and

leave a mortgaged house like you can an a rental apt!!! I was going to

put my name on retirement qrts but the wait list is 2 yrs and SHOULDNT

buy another home for 2 yrs and sell then....realtors comm will take me

for loss....hate to rent cause bad type neighbors(usually) in many

rentals....what to do.....sorry....Steve
