I understood this is for CT residents only. Are we allowed to sign it? You

know I think the AG should get a copy of Polly Murray's book to show him just

how long

this s*** has been going on!! I think I'll do that and have Amazon send it to

him.

Yeah, that's what I'll do!

Marleen,

I got a letter from Robynn this morning asking us to sign even though we

are not residents of CT. I am taking the petition with me to a family

gathering today, so I can get everyone to sign it.

Dear Friends,

I have just read and signed the online petition:

" Support Health Care Practitioners Providing Alternative Therapies "

hosted on the web by PetitionOnline.com, the free online petition

service, at:

http://www.PetitionOnline.com/talki/

I personally agree with what this petition says, and I think you might

agree, too. If you can spare a moment, please take a look, and consider

signing yourself.

Best wishes,

Jan Drew

Let me clarify here. We own a farm. We give abx only to sick animals, such

as PEN injections when they are sick w/respiratory. If you don't they can

die. Alot of abx is already mixed in feed itself, but you can request w/o.

Most of our small farmers only give the meds if necessary. It is expensive

to just give meds for no reason. Our livestock is only given meds if ill.

Then you have to wait 4 to 6 wks before use as meat. Needs to clear their

system.

,

I can relate also on antibiotics for animals. If it wasn't for the fact I

got tetrycycline at the mill for my HORSE with lyme disease and treated him

over 1 1/2 yrs I wouldn't have him today. He's doing much better than I am.

Suzanne- totally my pleasure to set up the petition. It's a free service

and took about 5 minutes to get it up and running.... it's the least I can

do. I just hope someone has his email address and can forward the link so he

can read all the wonderful things people have written about him.

As of 9:45pm there are 55 signatures (and the yanks are tied in the 8th).

Petition

Hi All,

The Parent Information Center of New Jersey, a private membership organization

whose services arise from the federal law, the Individuals with Disabilities

Education Act (IDEA), has been assisting parents and families with securing

appropriate educational services for their disabled children since 1977.

We are circulating a petition to ensure that parents will be able to continue to

have affordable representation at IEPs and due processing hearings.

Please consider signing the on line petition below and forwarding the link to as

many people as possible.

Note that the only required fields on the petition are name, email address and

zip code, but comments and other information are welcomed.

Thanks

Rick

http://www.ipetitions.com/campaigns/Nonlawyer

The petition reads as follows;

PETITION IN SUPPORT OF NONLAWYER REPRESENTATION FOR PARENTS IN SPECIAL EDUCATION

HEARINGS

We, the undersigned, support the use of trained nonlawyers as representatives of

parents in special education due process hearings. We recognize the lack of

affordable and trained attorneys for parents and children in the field of

special education, and request that Congress revisit the legislative urgency of

permitting nonlawyer practice regardless of State law, as well as the right of

nonlawyers to be paid for their work. We point out that school districts and

State agencies have both expert witnesses and law firms, paid for by tax

dollars, while parents must pay for both when disputing the special services

provided to their children. The use of nonlawyer representation would provide a

cost-effective option for parents who are otherwise unrepresented, as well as

ensure equal protection of the law.

There have been parents on this board that were turned away from CT

because their children were too mild. My son wore a DOC band and I

was obsessive over my 2nd child's head. I took her for a consult

and they assured me that she was just fine. My dealings with them

have been very honorable.

If you think that your daughter has tort then do seek PT soon. Just

like any treatment, the earlier you begin, the better the outcome!

Good luck!

I totally agree with you about the drs. Can you measure your child

yourself to find out the severity? Will the craniofacial specialist

do this? I think for my piece of mind, I should make an appt. with

Cranio Tech. I'll check out the links and do the severity points and

see what it says. Thanks Debbie and Brielle

What a sweetheart!! Is her hair red? I can see a little tilt but I

think that her forehead and facial features look just fine. Where

is the flatness? With the PT you should see her ROM improve first

and then the tilt.

Hi Natasha. Thank you. She has light hair, but I think it will be

brown like mine. My mom is a red head, so I have my fingers crossed

for that. She favors the left side, so the flatness is on the left.

Her ears are missaligned you can really tell from the back and her

right eye is smaller. She also has some forehead bossing. You

really have to look at her and some days it looks better than

others. Yesterday if I looked in the mirror with her, it was really

noticable. Early Intervention comes out tomorrow. I live in NJ, so

it is not free and is based on your salary from the previous year.

We did well last year, so our cost share would be over 400 a month,

so I may try to get PT through insurance. I spoke to my EI case

manager and she said she would help. IF not, I'll pay, I just want

to take care of this. I'm going to have my husband help me take

shots of her ear and forehead bossing. I do believe it is mild, but

I may be wrong. I just want to make sure she is o.k. and take things

from there.

No you really can't do the measurements yourself with any accuracy. CT and a lot of orthos do the evaluations for free. CT does measurements when insurance requires it or the parent insists Some specialist also do the measurements but a lot of them just eyeball it. I trust CT to just eyeball it since they see 50+ new cases each month. I find it hard to believe that any specialist would see 50+ plagio cases each month because they cover much more than that diagnosis.

I just signed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Funny, I was trying to think of

something we could do as a group! It is so easy to do there will be absolutely

NO

EXCUSE for anyone not to do it!!

I did it right away so I wouldn't forget!!!!!!!

Sue

Hello group,

There is a petition online for those of us affected by mold illness.

If we can convey the number of people affected and the impact on their

lives, maybe that will help us get some attention to the issue.

Please sign at: _http://www.Petitionhttp://www.http://wwhttp://wwhttp_

How many of us are there - worldwide? This should be interesting. The

petition site suggest to submit the petition to search engines, does

anyone know how to do that? The website link on the petition is the

next project - there is only a placeholder page there right now. Help

spread word of the petition please!

I told my story of " Mold at Ground Zero for CFS " to Congressman Bob

Filner in 2001, and warned that there is going to be an explosive

epidemic of mold illness.

Bob Filner was instrumental in bringing " Sudden Oak Death " to the

attention of the CA Senate.

Phytophthora: http://www.na.fs.fed.us/sod/

________________________________________________________

Senate Passes Bill on Sudden Oak Death Research

On Wednesday, July 11, the Senate passed S. 997, by voice vote. The

bill requires the Department of Agriculture to study the onslaught

of sudden oak death syndrome that has infected California trees. S.

997 also calls on Agriculture to monitor and treat affected trees

and establish a Sudden Oak Death Syndrome Advisory Committee.

Senator Barbara Boxer sponsored the bill. It also requires

Agriculture to provide fire management in areas swept by the

syndrome because the dead trees present major fire hazards. The

syndrome is caused by the same fungus that caused the early 20th

Century Irish Potato Famine.

___________________________________________________________

Congressman Filner expressed his concern and stated that he

personally knew people suffering with this problem, but " Toxic Mold "

was almost an invisible issue at the time.

I believe he would remember our correspondence, is aware of the

emergence of this paradigm, and he would be a good politician to

present the petition to.

Yes, you can view it at any time. Follow the same link - at the top of the

page, click on View Current Signatures.

Just an FYI: If anyone is concerned about signing it in regard to potential or

current litigation of their case, I asked an attorney who specializes in mold

cases if that should be a concern and he said no, signing the petition should

not affect any litigation.

I am overwhelmed by the positive response from this group and those who have

emailed me that they are sending out emails to many others. I really appreciate

whatever anyone can do to help us get the response we need. If we all can

contact other support groups, doctors, labs, remediators, attorneys, etc. to

reach those beyond this group, maybe we can get an accurate number. It must be

thousands. Has anyone ever heard of an estimated number?
