Guest guest
Hello! My name is Anne Rigaux and we live in France (Gers) just between Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.I'm sorry but I'm far from fluent in English so I hope everybody will understand. If you don't, please feel free to ask again and correct me!We live here for nearly 5 years (before we were in Belgium, in Bruxelles); we have a big dog ("Montagne des Pyrénées"), 12 chickens, 3 sheeps and a one week old lamb (they are the grass mowers), 4 little parrots and we feed the neiborough's cats (it's a deal: they kill mouses and other animals around the house). We make a garden for vegetables and try to have some flowers. We also have one room B & B ("Chambre d'hôtes") and we just open a very little apartment for two. So, a lot to do every day. One of my dream is to have one or two dairy goats, drink their milk and make my own cheese with raw milk naturally! In France, we can buy raw milk and cheeses made with raw milk but they are less and less (more sanitary controls and problems for exportation). Gers (especially our part) is a land with woods, fields (corn, sunflowers, plum trees...), some cows for the meet but no cheese and you have to make more than 2 hours in car , in very little ways, to get raw milk.So I'm in your group to learn more about raw milk, recipes and, I hope, share what I know and what I find.I wish you a nice sunday!Anne
