Guest guest
Hi , hate to say this but I don't remember any of the abbreviations for the labs what a dufus I am. Anyhow she circled these so maybe one is hemoglobin lol. WBC 1.8 .. RBC 3.29 ... HGB 11.0 is that it? If so I am not that low norm shows 11.5-15.5 G/DL. .. HCT 31.4 .. SEGS 42. I also have OVALOCYTES few and TEARDROPS few. My BND is high at 12 and my Mon are high at 16. PLT estimate is adequate. What is sad is she explained it all yesterday and nothing penetrated except the words you are clear lol. I have been on baby aspirin for awhile now my regular doc put me on them last year. I need to tell her I know the G.I. doc knows but maybe not her and I didn't know anything about procrit then. Now I know to much hahaaa but I will tell her and also pharmacist when I pick it up Sunday. hugs...pat/ww wrote: Hi , Looks like the warnings are for people that are started on the drug with a Hemoglobin of greater than 12. Do you know your Hemoglobin and does your doc know you have a history of clots. Are you taking any blood thinners, if not ask him/her if you could takin a baby aspirin or two a day. You have to do all you can to finish treatment. WW here and running scared again !!! Procrit anyone had that? Any of you ever take procrit? Made mistake again of reading on net about it and now am almost as terrified of it as I was the tx. I have a past history of blood clots, both in legs and in the lung. The stuff as of March 2007 has now been black boxed with a warning. Read that and also got the download of all sides etc. from the company who makes it. Supposed to pick it up Sunday haven't turned script in yet, it was to busy there yesterday. I will go and get it but I am worried now, I know don't worry but you know me worry wart. If anyone was on that I would appreciate any and all imput. Sorry family, I am still jazzed over me being zero load but don't know if I want to mess with this stuff or not. Love you all big hugs...pat No virus found in this incoming message.Checked by AVG Free Edition. That can also cause problems with clots etc. Thanks for imput sweetie, I know she won't lower she would rather do support drug s like procrit etc. If worse comes to worse she will lower dose. hugs...patHillbilly Tim wrote: hey i did read the info.this might not be the right thing but after reading about it,i would pass.my choice would be to cut back on tx a lil i mean smaller dose short term then let levels get better and blast more.im no expert just my first reaction after reading that and putting myself in your shoes.im not saying to stop tx just maybe reduce the dose a lil like a 1/3 or something i dunno but seems like that would work, hope u get a better answer that is more knowledge based then this. hugs to ya patricia <pandas2sbcglobal (DOT) net> wrote: Any of you ever take procrit?
