Guest guest
We spoke with our liability insurance agent earlier today in regard to making a claim for lightning damage. He off-handedly mentioned that the company, United Farm Family, would be dropping raw milk coverage due to recent claims in other states. We suspect, like with the organic dairy wholsale processors, this will become a trend to further thwart the private sale of raw milk. Pennsylvania, our state, has a C.A.R.E. organiztion. We were just wondering if anyone has personal experience with this organization and/or how it differs from Herd Share aggreements. Guest guest
, Yes, we will be there. This meeting is for producers only. We have a lot of questions, but we really think this is will be the trend for raw milk sales in our area. Guest guest
I agree with you. That is why we are going too. I don't know if you remember us from when we met before. We are the farmers that are shifting our dairy model to a model similar to yours. My husband is still unsure about selling raw milk which is why we are curious about C.A.R.E. He is also going to the grazing school near Ohio in September. My son still talks about your chickens. We will be getting some next year. To: RawDairy Sent: Tue, July 13, 2010 11:29:21 AMSubject: Re: C.A.R.E. and Herd Shares,Yes, we will be there. This meeting is for producers only.
