Guest guest
Hi , I'm not allergic to bites but did get bitten by a recluse spider on the side of my neck about five years back and had several months of severe pain, illness and added Stills symptoms. I am allergic to Bennadryl so I was given a short dose of steroids to help with the symptoms and that helped with my arthritis. It didn't help shorten the length of the spider toxins or effects though but just thought this may help you have some information. I was given a course of antibiotics as well because we do have an immune disease or maybe that is prescribed as a regular course for recluse bites anyway? I'm not sure but a two week supply was given. The bite made me physically sick for several months though, but I was very lucky considering the location just below my ear and compared to some. I was even given a large token spider by one of my dear friends here at the group at our Las Vegas conference several months later in comemmoration of the event, lol. Good luck with yours. ----- Original Message ----- From: I was stung by an insect today, which I am allergic to.
