I won't use a cordless phone. I don't want my

head that close to reception signal. You pay

alot for that small convenience. Just stand

still when you talk. I was cured of wanting a

cellphone too when I developed a 'hot ear' from

talking on one. If authorities say they are

safe, well there are people who say mold is too,

so how can you or anyone feel comfortable?

If I did use a cordless phone, I would get one

with the least power, not the most.

Most coardless phones have the 'speakerphone " option which I love.

So if your dubious of the saftey of a coardless against your head just

get one with this option and set it down on the table in front of you.

The distance is bound to make a big difference in the streanth of the

signals being absorbed by your body. I would venture to say at this

point if your worried about this you better find a place where their

are no radio towers or phone towers.

I never liked the burning sensation my cell phone gave me either. I

always used the ear plug.

As popular as they are though you would think brain cancer business

would be booming.

Ditto . You've made some good points. I am not as concerned of

the cordless phones as much as the cell phones. My cell phone within

a very short time I experience a numbing ache just above the ear. I

now will not use my cell phone at all without an ear piece. Then

again I never liked holding a phone to my head for any great length

of time. I do not experience any problems with the ear piece even

being on the phone for 4-5 hours at a time.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Many professionals say mold isn't dangerous and we know better, why

would I believe them when they say the same about cell phones. I'm

not going to wait until I grow a tumor and find out the hard way.

Your body is very resilient and resists harm for

a long time so it may take awhile but believe me,

it couldn't be good to have a signal that strong

beamed to your head, especially with the amount

of time some people spend on them. I DO have a

picture of some dead tree tops near some towers

here I intend to download to my computer. They

make good visual. I'm not sure what type of

signal they send. I have to inquire.

, I should have taken the opportunity to say Thank You to you and

Sharon also for all the work and sacrifice you do to make this forum a

reality. I don't know where we would be without it.

,

I really appreciate the kind words and thoughts. Just like everyone

else on this board we are here because we need to be and it wasn't

by choice. I'm just as glad this board is here as much as you and

everyone else, it works both ways. As far as sacrificing, I'm not

sure if we really have, because it is so desperately needed for so

many. I really don't look at it that way. It's not just me that

makes this board what it is today, it's everyone that gives me

feedback and believe me I need it at times. I don't have all the

answers and never claimed to, I just try and make this board an

accuarate resource and as close to a safe haven as possible.

We have all been through so much, some more than others, many that

have paid the ultimate price. Hopefully because of boards like this

we will be able to make a drastic change in the way our medical

community and politicans look upon us. What I fear even when that

times comes boards such as this will always be needed, because I

know this is a life line for many.

Hopefully we can continue to teach each other, learn from each

other, support each and continue to move forward.

Thank you,

KC
