Hi,

I too had a rash on my abdomen. The Dr.s said it was nothing. Our hygeniest

thought it was the toxins leaving my body. Once we were out of the moldy home

the rash eventialy went away.

Yes, I also had rashes while living in the mold. Had

them on my face, and my eyes would swell. Had a

particularly bad open lesion on my leg during that

time, the doctor called it " vasculitis. " All of it

went away after leaving the mold house.

them which stop the itching.

I itch all over too and it is worse sometimes than others. I have hives that

came up on my back and on my head that turned into hard bumps and will not go

away.

Dr Shoemaker calls it " Mold facies " .

Sounds like a " cutesy " name for a rash on someones face, but it's

actually a medical term.

Facies:

Medicine. The appearance or expression of the face, especially when

typical of a certain disorder or disease.

I had the hard bumps which dried up when I put the Aloe Vera gel on it. I

picked up at the Dollar store and it worked! I let the aloe vera gel dry on

them. It took about 2 days for them to go away. I had it in my scalp as well.

My dermatologist gave me a benadryl shot. I also used the cayenne treatment

which help since I was using the Lemonade Diet which including taking the

cayenne pepper.

Hives

The medical term used for Hives is urticaria. It is a skin condition which

leaves behind rings and patches all over your body. It appears in group and

looks like pale red swellings. Once these swellings are developed they fade away

to re-appear on some other part of your body. Chemical called histamine is the

reason for the red blotches. It is released when you come in contact with an

allergen. You can develop this condition without being allergic to anything.

They usually come in different sizes depending upon the seriousness of your

Home Remedies for Hives

Hives treatment by eliminating the triggering factor

It is very important to know the cause of allergic reaction. Once you found out

the triggering agent, it becomes very easy to fight the battle.

Hives treatment by using cool compression

By applying the cool compression it may help to provide some relief from the

pain and itch.

Hives treatment by using calamine lotion

By applying this lotion it can grant you relief from the itchy feeling.

Hives treatment by using milk of magnesia

By dabbing milk of magnesia on the lesions, provides some relief. As milk of

magnesia is an alkaline solution it helps in removing the irritating itchy

sensation.

Hives treatment by using herbal tea

Calming our nerves is one of the important things to do, as stress makes the

matter worse. Drinking peppermint or passionflower tea is very good. You can

I had those kinds of blisters in my nose too.. The sides of my nose

would also swell up.. I always was infected somewhere atound there, it

happened to my eyes and eyelids too.. I'd also get fluid in the space

behind my eyes and in and around my ears.. It was making me crazy. The

ear issues came and went very quickly..

You know what I found to help a little bit?

Women's yeast infection cream.. (monistat, vagisil, etc.) rubbed with

a finger, or on a q-tip, offered some relief.. sometimes there would

even be some kind of a die off and there would be a (short-lived,

unfortunately) dramatic improvement.. the swelling would suddenly

lessen and the blotches would dry up..

They didn't fully go away until long after I got out of the moldy apt.

I also had problems with my gums and teeth.. lots of other places too..
