Guest guest
Some of you may recall I had bronchitis/whooping cough/whatever it was in May and June. I was off the Kineret for two full months. At first I was doing okay and then suddenly the week before I was to go back on the Kineret, i started feeling really, really bad. A lot of pain and fatigue and cognition issues. Brought back bad memories of before I was diagnosed. I started back on the Kineret last week, but I am still getting worse. I estimate 3-8 months before I am back feeling better again. Grrr. so upsetting. I had to call the doc at the end of last week for pain meds. It has been 2 years since I've been on any pain meds. 2 years. And I called crying for some. They sent in a script and made me an appt for yesterday. I went in yesterday and the RD was so nice. We're doing labs and we might up my Arava for a bit to see if it will help get things back under control quicker. She said she thought she could see a faint rash on my arms, which is something new for me, I have never had a rash. Anyway, she said to take the pain meds and rest as much as possible. They prescribed Tramadol, which i have never taken before. It doesn't make me sleepy, so i'm gonig to try it at work today. I did learn something through this - I definitely need the Kineret. It's something I had been wondering about and I will never wonder again. Houston, Texas
