I would think a new condo would also be outgassing from wallboard, paint,

finishes, new cabinetry, any carpet and pad. It may not be just the

insecticides which are bothering you.

During construction of NEW homes and condo's builders are

installing " tubes " the size of swizzle straws that have slices in

them into walls. They

have " ports " on the outside of the home or building where pesticides

and chemicals are " injected " in every 3mos.- in this case. The tubes

are " doubled up " around plumbing sites.

Chemicals are pumped into ALL walls of the condo and permeate

through into the condo interior at all times.

Of course, this is an option that not all builders decide on, but if

you are leasing or renting (like me)- the " owner " is not obligated

to make this information available- or may not even know about this.

Our owner lives in Ireland and bought this condo sight-unseen and

may be unaware (Ask about this before leasing)

of this. In the meantime, we have been breathing in these chemicals,

wondering why we are still feeling badly. I found out about this by

finding the " port " outside by our HVAC condenser and became

interested in what it was. This company is called Pest Defense or

Pest Defense or Integrated Pest Defense (depending on which

state you are in). They will also happily install tubes into your

slab as well.
